Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team in Oman. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, and specialty drinks, following recipes and presentation standards.

• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience.

• Operate coffee shop equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Engage with customers to build rapport, address inquiries, and resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment.

• Stay updated on menu items, seasonal offerings, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.

• Assist with light food preparation, such as pastries or sandwiches, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

• Passion for coffee and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including latte art, is a plus.

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.

Salary:

• Monthly Salary: 150 Oman Rial (equivalent to approximately 50,000 KES)
